Everyday MOMents” blog tour March 10-April 10, 2016

Posted by Debra Ann Elliott at 2:44 PM 0 comments
Disclosure: I received this book from Cedar Fort in exchange for my honest review

About the book:
Discover the divine purpose in your motherhood! Each inspiring chapter moves through another hour in a mother’s day, highlighting spiritually symbolic insights and describing how Christ is by your side even during the daily routine. From sun-up to bedtime, this entertaining and uplifting book will help you find the inherent divinity hidden in the every day details of motherhood.
About the author:
Jessica Poe has spent the last decade writing professionally for healthcare systems across the nation. Prior to freelancing, she worked as a communications specialist for Intermountain Healthcare and earned a bachelor’s degree in public relations from Brigham Young University. She and her husband homeschool their three children under the lively green trees of Oregon; basking in the small, natural moments. Jessica maintains a collection of divine details from their daily doings at www.jessica-poe.com/blog and she’s a regular contributor at www.multiplygoodness.com.

My thoughts:
As a mom and grandmom, it is easy to get caught up in the "I'm busy" trappings and we tend to forget what motherhood is all about. Motherhood isn't just about responsibility, it's about love and how Christ wants mom's to discover the divine purpose of motherhood. Jessica's book gives mom's an insight into what Christ wants and expects. This short, faith-based book takes mom's on a wonderful, spirit-filled journey through motherhood.

If you want to rediscover motherhood through everyday MOMents, be sure to pick up a copy of Jessica's book at Amazon , Barnes & Nobel, or Deseret Books.

Renew Stinky Odors with Renuzit Sensitive Scents Review & Coupon Giveaway #SensitiveScents

Posted by Debra Ann Elliott at 9:12 AM 41 comments
Disclosure: "The Renuzit® brand provided me with samples of Renuzit Sensitive Scents in exchange for a product review. However, all the opinions expressed here are my own."

Nothing says Springtime like the fresh aroma of stinky dog and smelly shoes. If you are like me, my sensitive nose can't stand the smell, but one way to stop stinky odor in its tracks is new Renuzit Sensitive Scents.

Spring isn't about stinky dog and smelly shoes, it's about renewing and refreshing with Renuzit Sensitive Scents

I had the opportunity to try new Renuzit Sensitive Scents Pure Water Blossom & Cucumber Cone , Pure Ocean Breeze Oil, and Pure White Pearl & Lavender Spray.

Pure Water Blossom & Cucumber Cone:

My opinion of this new Renuzit Sensitive Scents adjustable cone is it smells great, not too overpowering with a hint of crispness. This particular product is best used in small spaces. One cone does not work in a living room or kitchen.I used this one in my office which fills my small space with everyday fresh scents.  As far as scents go, the aroma is not overpowering which is good if you are sensitive to strong aroma's. I give this product an 8.

Pure Ocean Breeze Oil:

This heavenly scent takes me back to the Oregon Coast. I chose to use Renuzit Sensitive Scents oil in my living room to quell doggy odor and stinky, smelly shoes. It works great, but the aroma is a bit overwhelming. If you have sensitivities, this may not be for you. However, the scent continuously refreshes and renews my living room. The only downside, after a few hours, the scent smells like incense. Two thumbs up!

Pure White Pearl & Lavender Spray:

Spring is in the air and so is the smell of stinky dog. I love my dog, but hate the way he makes my furniture and carpet smell. One spray and smelly odors are gone. This fragrance is light and airy, not too overpowering, but has enough strength to get rid of yucky pet odor. If smelly odor's have you holding your nose, try new Renuzit Pure White Pearl & Lavender Spray. One spray goes a long way, be sure not to overspray due to wetness. I give this one a 10!

Be sure to pick your favorite up where ever Renuzit products are sold! To learn more about new Renuzit Sensitive Scents visit Renuzit.

One lucky reader can will a coupon for a free Renuzit Sensitive Scents product. US only. Ends 3/15. a Rafflecopter giveaway

He Named Me Malala plus giveaway #HeNamedMeMalala #WithMalala

Posted by Debra Ann Elliott at 12:00 AM 27 comments
Disclosure: This is a sponsored post on behalf of Review Wire Media for Nat Geo. I received information to facilitate my review as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation.

He Named Me Malala
Global Broadcast of He Named Me Malala
Monday, February 29th
8 pm EST/7 pm CST

ABOUT THE MOVIE:
HE NAMED ME MALALA is an intimate portrait of Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Malala Yousafzai, who was targeted by the Taliban and severely wounded by a gunshot when returning home on her school bus in Pakistan’s Swat Valley. The then 15-year-old was singled out, along with her father, for advocating for girls’ education, and the attack on her sparked an outcry from supporters around the world. She miraculously survived and is now a leading campaigner for girls’ education globally as co-founder of the Malala Fund.

Acclaimed documentary filmmaker Davis Guggenheim (An Inconvenient Truth, Waiting for Superman) shows us how Malala, her father Zia and her family are committed to fighting for education for all girls worldwide. The film gives us an inside glimpse into this extraordinary young girl’s life – from her close relationship with her father who inspired her love for education, to her impassioned speeches at the UN, to her everyday life with her parents and brothers.

Giveaway: One lucky reader will win a copy of I am Malala: The Girl Who Stood Up for Education and Was Shot by the Taliban by Malala Yousafzai. US only. Giveaway ends March 7th. Please note: If you have won the same prize on another blog, you will not be eligible to win it again.
